Grape Festival in Eleochori of Kavala
At the theater of Eleochori, near Nea Peramos the vine festival takes place every summer. It lasts ten days between August and September.
During the festival there are many activities, while there are days dedicated to the environment, others to commerce and still others to senior citizens. Folklore dancing groups from Greece and foreign countries perform there, as well as Greek musical bands.
The festival aims at advertising the vine and its products as well as entertaining the visitors of the area with cultural proposals.
