Teloglion Foundation of Art in Thessaloniki

The core of the collections of the Teloglion Foundation of Arts is the donation of Nestor and Aliki Telloglou to the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. They donated their rich collection of works of art and their entire estate for the creation of a foundation that would promote art.The private art collection of the Telloglou couple includes works of art from various civilizations: statuettes, especially from the Hellenistic period, Corinthian, Hellenistic and Roman pottery, Persian miniatures, samples of Arabic and Chinese art (vases, panels, dishes) as well as woodreliefs from Thailand. The main body of the collection is works of art by important Greek and European artists of the 19th and 20th century. The techniques vary: oil on canvas, drawings, prints, sculptures.
